In author Sam Redfeather's (username: Gibraltar) Star Trek fanfic novel, "Geometries of Chance," the crew of the Constitution (refit)-class starship USS Gibraltar investigate the disappearance of a runabout that went missing while persuing an investigation of its own. 

The mystery surrounding the fate of the runabout turns into a carefully-crafted prose that not only grips the reader, pulling them into the plot, but works as a dynamic plot with several layers and allowing the ensemble feel to flow throughout the story.

"Geometries of Chance" is the HopeStation.net Repository's Featured Story of the Month for April 2008, and the admins highly recommend it to all our members.  Leave a review or a rating for this well-written story.
